Six quick turns of the hour glass
How did I ever live this way?
Quick turn and I'm over it
The death of sweet naivety
How could you notice the subtle twitches in my face?
How could you notice the glitches in the break?
And the well worn carry on, as the weird get left behind.
Clone me, make me a mannequin
Temptation left a husk of me
Leave my past in the stratosphere
And let it burn amongst the weak
How could you notice the fear burns from inside?
How can I focus with eyes deprived from sleepless night?
And the well worn carry on, as the weird get left behind.
How can I focus with eyes deprived from sleepless night?
And the well worn carry on, as the weird get left behind.
How can I focus with eyes deprived from sleepless night?
Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
This album is so breath taking. It's hard to pick a favorite song off of it, but if I had to pick, I'd pick Dinosword because it gets stuck in my head the most. Zach Szerlip
